Dear Supporters -

We recently received encouraging polling news regarding the state of our race! When voters were asked who they would vote for today after hearing some basic information about both Daylin and his opponent, the results were:  Leach 57% to  Rogers  36%

After positive profiles of both candidates – as well as a series of messages which argued both for and against Daylin – the results were: Leach  54%  to Rogers  34%

This shows the strength of Daylin's candidacy no matter what kind of mud the Republicans throw at him.

Obviously events can intervene and the dynamics of the race can change. However, it’s good to know that if we forge ahead to communicate Daylin’s positive message to the voters of the 17th District, we can make these numbers a reality. We plan to work harder than ever and appreciate your contributions, your time, your talent and your support. Please keep reading to see how you can help this week!

“Delivering Democracy” UPDATE

Today our field team reached a major milestone by knocking on our 2,000th door! We’ve been out “Delivering Democracy” for a few weeks now and the response has been fantastic. We hope you’ll come join us to talk to your neighbors about voting for Daylin. Saturday - July 19th - Door Knocking in Plymouth Meeting (10:00am – 2:00pm)

Meet our 1000th Donor  - Julie Summerfield

Julie was inspired to contribute to Daylin after he knocked on her door in early July. As a twenty year resident of the 17th State Senate district, cat lover, and the Manager of The Haverford College  Bookstore she was impressed with Daylin’s work in the community and the fact that he mentions his cats in his literature!

Julie and her companion Rob Haley try to support independent and local business whenever possible since they believe that by investing in these places that they are building up their community. They feel the same about supporting local politicians. Julie said that while she can’t always "pound the pavement" in support of local candidates or issues that she cares about, she can contribute to the effort. In a year where people are  focused on the Presidential elections, it's even more important to invest and support the campaigns of local candidates because of the work they do in the community.
